Rolls-Royce is undergoing a certain metamorphosis. They’ve been unusually quiet about their foray into electric vehicles. Possibly because they weren’t so entirely interested about hybrid vehicles. The Silver Shadow patent hints that it might be the name the luxury giant is looking to get branded onto this new EV.
Finally, this luxury EV is likely to even further resemble the 103EX concept vehicle from all the way back in 2016. This is while tech is shared with the BMW iX, not to mention their flagship i7.
The Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce, Torsten Müller-Ötvös had this to say: “We need to make smart decisions on where we invest our money.”
In total, it’s looking like the first production electric vehicle should be opening the door for Rolls-Royce and their customers with opportunities for furthering. advancement in the pursuit of green vehicles. In this case, they will be looking to the USA and China for the main markets. And if that’s the scenario, well then Rolls-Royce will be good to go.
