Vapes.com, which is a small e-commerce company, and Equte LLC, a marketing contractor for the company, has been sued by the Windy City’s Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection for direct marketing and selling flavored vapor products. This is to underaged people across Chicago. In fact, this is the first lawsuit enforcing the citywide ban on flavored tobacco products. It was put in place some four months ago.

Vapes.com is Part of a New Chapter in E-Cigarette Industry Litigation

Moreover, Chicago’s city government has announced a new round of litigation. It alleges vape companies are still trying to addict young people to new electronic cigarettes and nicotine. This is regarding a new chapter of litigation against companies of the e-cigarette industry.
